This Saturday is the Boise State spring game. It's a good chance to get the players out on the blue but it's better for us fans who miss football desperately. The entire 2017 schedule is out and there are two games (TWO) with a start time before 8 p.m.

This weekend's spring game will be on the blue starting at 5:00 p.m. Saturday. As for the actual football season, the schedule is pretty much set. Some changes will happen (depending on how the season goes and any last-minute time changes).

  • Saturday, Sept. 2: vs. Troy (ESPN networks)
  • Saturday, Sept. 9: at Washington State
  • Thursday, Sept. 14: vs. New Mexico, (6 p.m. ESPN)
  • Friday, Sept. 22: vs. Virginia (6 p.m., ESPN or ESPN2)
  • Friday, Oct. 6: at BYU (8:15 p.m., ESPN)
  • Saturday, Oct. 14: at San Diego State (8:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network)
  • Saturday, Oct. 21: vs. Wyoming (ESPN networks)
  • Saturday, Oct. 28: at Utah State (8 p.m., CBS Sports Network)
  • Saturday, Nov. 4: vs. Nevada (ESPN networks)
  • Saturday, Nov. 11: at Colorado State (8:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network)
  • Saturday, Nov. 18: vs. Air Force (ESPN networks)
  • Saturday, Nov. 25: at Fresno State (1:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network)

Who knows, maybe we'll be watching our Broncos on Saturday night and cheering on two more former Broncos in the NFL the next day. We had some friends in town last weekend who played for Boise State and were back for Pro Day.
