Boise State Basketball On ‘The Bubble’ As March Looms
They use to say that Boise State was 'A Football School' and now, the basketball team is giving that football program a run for their money. You may recall the significant amount of hype that the men's basketball team garnered last year and let's be honest--despite having some decent seasons over the years, it was an all-time high. The Broncos got revenge on New Mexico this week and San Diego State is coming to town in a week--the ranked program dominated Boise State in an awful road-game showing but a win might just prove the Broncos are March Madness worthy.
Here's the beautiful thing: the Broncos have proven they're good enough--even with another loss to San Diego State. In some of the most recent projections, Boise State who is technically 'On The Bubble', seems to be a favorite as a 10 seed.
Star guard Max Rice has a different look at bubble life:
San Diego State comes to Boise for the final home game of the season, Tuesday, February 28th.
The hype was real about this basketball team last year--do you remember what happened when the Broncos won big and students weren't allowed to storm the court? Yikes!
