It's real, it's happening, and it feels right. Boise State is not only back in the Top 25 rankings in EVERY poll, but they're moving on up.

Last week, they cracked #25 in the College Football Playoff poll and this week, they're moving up as high as #23 in that same poll, and are #25 / #24 in the AP and Coaches Polls, respectively.

So what does this mean? Well, the odds of Boise State going to a major bowl game this year are slim. While we're among the best teams in the country right now, there are two teams that are ahead of us from the "group of five" conferences, or, the non-majors. Ahead of Boise State at #15 is Central Florida and at #20 is Memphis.

If they both lose? Well, there's a chance Boise State could play in January however, it seems since they have to play each other in the conference championship game--this outcome doesn't seem likely as SOMEBODY has to get a win over a ranked team in that game-- something Boise State doesn't have in their future.

No matter what happens in the other games all across the country, Boise State has a tough conference foe in Fresno State this Saturday and with a win, they'll need to play AGAIN for the conference championship. At this point, I'm glad Boise State has once again garnered national respect to be among the top programs in the country.
