Boise State Football Plays to End Hunger in Idaho

For this entire season, plays made during a Boise State football game will have a far bigger impact than getting the Broncos to a win - it will help end hunger in the Treasure Valley. 

Dear quarterbacks: We have a job to do and it's so much bigger than you'll understand. You, my friend, are going to be sacked.

Saturday's Boise State vs. Washington State football game is at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN. Our Broncos are in Pullman despite the air quality. Each sack (our defense to their quarterback) could earn the Idaho Food Bank $500.

Albertsons has teamed up with the Boise State Football team for "Sacks for Hunger" where every sack by our defense, $500 is donated by Albertsons to the Idaho Food Bank. That $500 provides 2,000 meals.

Watch the game intently and know that a difference is being made.
