It's a relationship that has been about as dysfunctional as they come over the least several weeks.

Fans blaming the team. Fans blaming other fans. Fans blaming students. What is going on at Boise State's ExtraMile Arena?

Let's be honest, there's nothing 'bad' about this basketball squad or the distinguished coaching staff that is behind them. The team has certainly been struggling--and it's college athletics. That happens.

It almost seems as if this basketball team is cursed by football's success. In the football world, Boise State fans are used to 'needing' to win every single game. Basketball is a bit different. Teams don't go undefeated and are forced to improve all year long, leading up to March Madness.

Boise State's 'fans' seem to have no tolerance for turbulence. Take a look at the stands...they aren't even showing up.

If the team is going to play their hearts out..the fans should do their part, too.
