Boise Vows to Rebuild After ‘Devastating’ Wind, 5-Minute Sprinkle
Weather alerts from all over were 'flooding' the Treasure Valley just a day ago as 'extreme' weather was allegedly on the way. National weather alerts and local new outlets continued to remind Boise residents to be safe as this 'extreme' storm was on the way.
Many waited, waited, and waited some more--only for the storm to never show up.
Others saw some rain, thought 'oh, here it comes' and then...watched the rain go away.
No, it seems that storm on Wednesday, July 24th was far from 'serious'.
Here is a closer look at the storm...and the city's reaction to it!

We asked you online: how bad was that storm? It seems that everyone agrees it wasn't much of a 'storm', at all!
After the wind and rain wreaked havoc on the Treasure Valley, many local residents were forced to respond, rally, and recover. It wasn't uncommon to see folks re-aligning their trash cans, raking some fallen leaves, or ensuring that their lawn chairs were in the proper place following a slight move.
Certainly, our community can come together through this tragedy and bounce back--we're 'Boise Strong' this week for all who felt the wrath of this extreme storm.
Thousands lost power out of safety, as well--but that was restored, for most, by midnight.
While we didn't experience much of a storm yesterday, we have seen some big ones here in the Treasure Valley just this year alone. Here is a closer look at one recent storm that garnered quite the social media reaction!
