Bringham Young University. Boise State University. If you ask me, these two schools hold one of the most underrated rivalries in the country when it comes to college football. Here in Boise, people seem to bleed blue and orange year round and sometimes--there's one big exception. No, I'm not talking about the loud and boisterous University of Idaho Vandal fans here in town. I'm talking about the MASSIVE amount of BYU fans, families, and graduates that live right here in the Treasure Valley.  For many, it's all blue and orange until the Cougars are in town.

That just happens to be the case this week.

On Friday evening, the BYU Cougars will be here in Boise, taking on Boise State at Albertsons Stadium. These two teams are no strangers to one another. They have a long history. How could we ever forget the infamous game that included...well, the punch felt all around the country?

Along with BYU bringing to town a rivalry game (for which their coaches have shared are thankful was allowed to happen given these two teams don't share a conference)--the Cougars, ranked 9th in the entire country, will be the highest ranked team to ever play on the blue.

Well, sort of.

In 2010, Boise State played at home on the blue and were ranked THIRD...#3...in all of college football.

Do you plan on watching this game? Football sure doesn't feel normal this year and honestly, I wish it was on a larger network. However, we've got football and we're ready to see the #21 Boise State Broncos keep the victory in town.
