If there is one thing that the Treasure Valley is good at, it's stepping up. Our area and our community just knows how to step up when there's a need--whether a tragedy has struck or a worthy cause has arisen: we know how to be there for one another. Even as our area has grown over the years--this one principle has remained true and for that, we're thankful.

One worthy cause that everyone can get behind is now asking for help in Caldwell and to participate, it will only take $1.

The Advocates Against Family Violence (AAFV) are spearheading an effort in Caldwell which aims to amplify the visibility of October: Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Aiming to remove violence from the lives of all families and individuals, AAFV is now hoping to "paint the town purple" by planting 1,000 purple pin wheels across town, reminding folks that abuse happens here, in our community, and needs to be stoped, prevented, and rehabilitated.

AAFV is allowing folks to contribute with just $1--which will be put towards ONE pinwheel. You can dedicate it to someone, to yourself or story, or just to the cause in general. Of course, anyone is welcome to buy more than one pinwheel.

It only takes $1 to help the cause and plant a purple pinwheel in Caldwell! If you can spare the donation, tap in to the GoFundMe link, below!!
