The Capitol Christmas Tree that'll appear in Washington D.C. was taken from right here in the Gem State.

So how did they chop it down?

The USDA forest service hand-picked the tree in the Payette National Forest, and took a traditional crosscut saw to the timber to take her down the old school way.

The tree is now in transit from Idaho to Washington D.C. where she'll be on display for all to enjoy this holiday season.
