Cycle To Break The Cycle: Another Year Wrapped Up
Another year of us cycling to break the cycle of child abuse is in the books and to everyone who came out or supported us in one way or another: it couldn't have been done without you.
I've been here at 103.5 KISS FM for three years now and that's just a blip in the history of this event, but just in the time I've been around it, I have seen it grow in more ways than I thought possible. The event, which spanned over 4-days this past week, brings together this community.
If there's one thing that anyone can admit about Boise, it's this: our community cares. Give this city of ours a reason to help, uplift, support, or come out and our people do just that. It's a powerful message in action alone.
Our event is something a little different. We've got a stage full of bicycles that powers the entire radio station, literally. By powering our radio station, you power our message: it shouldn't hurt to be a child. How POWERFUL, is that!?
A huge thank you to our sponsors, Pioneer Federal Credit Union & Millcreek Wireless that did a ton of heavy lifting to get this event off of the ground. A thank you to all of the vendors in the village that came by and brought food or support for our staff and volunteers, and a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who spent any amount of time jumping on a bicycle.
Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell--Treasure Valley: we love you, and thank you!
