Final College Football Top 25 Released
If you had a chance to watch the NCAA National Championship Football game yesterday, you know how crazy of a game that was. An Alabama team that seemingly wins way too many championship team against an impressive Georgia squad. I thought for sure Georgia had it won until the "comeback team" that is the University of Alabama came charging back, taking the game to overtime and eventually winning.
While there was no doubt that after winning that Alabama would be ranked #1...what about the rest of the 24 teams? Boise State of course had a convincing win against the University of Oregon in the Las Vegas Bowl... would they jump up?
The good news is: yes. Boise State finished the year #22.
Other notable teams that finished ranked were Oklahoma State (#14 and will be playing Boise State next fall) and former BSU coach Chris Petersen's Washington team finished #16.
