Foodies Race To 5-Star Sandwich Shop After Viral TikTok Review
One of the best parts about living in the Treasure Valley is all of the local shops and food places that are around. It seems as though no matter where you go there's a local restaurant or store right around the corner. This also makes the Boise community so tight knit, knowing they are supporting local businesses and their fellow neighbors, friends, and family.
Whether a restaurant is opening for the first time or is considered a "hidden gem" everyone gets excited when there is a new place to try. With the amount Boise is growing there's usually at least one place that someone hasn't tried yet and after a Tik Tok of a local sandwich shop gained traction online everyone is excited about this place.

Don and Charly's is located on 10th street in Downtown Boise and is quickly gaining popularity. Despite opening in 2023 after locals discovered this new TikTok everyone wanted to give it a try. The inside of the shop is cute and aesthetically pleasing and the workers always have a smile on their face and willing to help.
While sandwiches may seem boring they have a little something for everyone and definitely make it anything but boring. They have vegetarian and gluten free options for those who need it and everyone seems to love their side salad and potato salad. Despite opening a couple of years ago Don and Charly's is still considered a hidden gem and locals are excited to either get it again or try it for the first time!
