Footage Captures Rare High Speed Chase in Boise [Video]

There are certain things that folks in the Treasure Valley just aren't used to seeing--and we see a lot here. Snow in May? That happened last year. Crazy viral moments? It seems that those happen more and more often these days!

High speed chases? In Idaho? No way.

Today, drivers on I-84 were surprised to see a chase with several police cars tailing a sedan.

The images make the chase seem somewhat 'controlled' --and while law enforcement eventually brought it to a stop, one local resident said it was a bit scary.

According to a resident that sent us this footage, the car pulled over and then shortly after started driving away from the police and another "chase" began.

At this time, we have no idea what the chase was about or who was driving the car, however local law enforcement did a great job of bringing it all to an end and keeping others on the road as safe as possible during the pursuit. It's important to note that these types of things can always go sideways--and safety was at the forefront of the entire chase.
