Former NFL, Boise State Coach, Speaks Up To Support Danielson

Drive by Boise State University on Broadway Avenue and you're bound to see the screens lit up with a face that has simply been everywhere this week: Spencer Danielson.

The newly named Boise State Football head coach has stolen the story line of a difficult season and the heart of fans, players, boosters, and lovers of college football.  Now officially 'in the seat' as head coach, Danielson has to look ahead to a bowl game without the teams starting quarterback and of course--prepare for a debut season in 2024 behind the steering wheel.

One of the biggest, brightest, and most welcomed endorsements for Danielson so far has come from a familiar guy and NFL legend...

Here's a look at Dirk Koetter from our highlight of him during his interim tenure at Boise State in the 2022 season!

Koetter certainly saved the football season last year and fans will never forget that--or his original tenure in Boise years ago! 

It's great to see a guy that so many fans trust, be so vocal about the hire (in a supportive manor) and that's what this fanbase needs right now! During the coaching hunt, many had wished Koetter would be in the running--despite being in retirement. That's just how much fans love this guy!

With Spencer Danielson now in place, here's a look at how he will be compensated by Boise State University, pending approval of the Idaho State Board of Education.
