The groundhog may have predicted six more weeks of winter, but we're not feeling it in the Treasure Valley.  With highs in the upper 50s this weekend, why not spend your family time outdoors?

If you're not heading to McCall for the final weekend of Winter Carnival, you can look forward to an absolutely beautiful weekend in the Treasure Valley.  Take advantage of the nice weather by spending the day at Zoo Boise this Saturday! They're ringing in the "month of love" with a special family Valentine's celebration they like to call "Wild at Heart."

Part of the celebration includes FREE admission between 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Throughout the day, stop by your favorite animal's enclosure to watch them get their special Valentine's gift from the zoo keepers! Kids can also enjoy other events like face painting, photo-ops and can make a Valentine's Day card for their favorite zoo resident! (I'll be in McCall, can someone make an extra one for the penguins for me?)

BTW, if you didn't get a chance to visit with our friends from Capes & Crowns at the Canyon County Kids Expo last weekend, the princesses and heroes are part of this fun family day! Stop through to grab a photo with them!
