With so much negativity in the world it is nice hearing some good news in our community, we found out that a Boise mail carrier saved a mans life. KTVB first reported on the story of Jason Elliott taking action after he noticed that one of the elderly men that he delivers to hadn't been picking up his mail.

Jason was doing his normal route last Friday and he noticed that Richard Major hadn't picked up his mail after several days he placed a call to 911 to have them do a safety check. And it is great news that he took action because Richard had fallen down and couldn't get back up.

According to medical officials Richard's body was starting to shut down and he was extremely dehydrated. Luckily, Dick was found and taken to the hospital and working toward recovering from this horrific ordeal. Way to go Jason, thanks for being proactive when you saw something that didn't seem right.
