Just over a year ago Granger Smith walked onto the stage at Townsquare Media's Boise Music Festival and stole the show.  He wasn't the headliner but he should've been and if you ask anyone who watched this phenomenal talent take the stage, you'd know just how GREAT this guy is.  He absolutely KILLED it!

Fast forward one year and a lot has happened.  On June 6th of this year, Granger's 3-year-old son River tragically died in a swimming pool accident while Granger and the family were enjoying a get together at his property in Georgetown, Texas.  If you were at the Garth Brooks concert at Albertsons Stadium on Friday night you probably had tears in your eyes as you watched Granger pay tribute to his son singing Heaven Bound Balloons and then releasing a single red balloon, pointing to the sky, and gazing off into the heavens as if he and his little boy were connecting right there on that stage.

One thing we didn't get at the Garth concert was Earl Dibbles Jr.  Many speculate that it's just too early.  Too soon.  Maybe it's hard for Granger to bring back that goofy, redneck character we all love.  But Granger says Earl Dibbles Jr. will go on and will continue at his concerts.  Sometimes these are the types of things that help us cope.  That help us get through what seems to be impossible.  And Granger Smith along with Earl Dibbles Jr. is headed back to Boise, Idaho this Winter.

Granger has always had a strong following here in Idaho and Granger himself has openly discussed how at home he feels here.  He also constantly sells out venues so it's no surprise that he'll be coming back.  Here are the details...
