You wouldn't think that something so routine could be "revolutionized"--but it has been. An example I often use for a re-created wheel is Uber. For decades, if you needed a ride home from the bars or to the airport, you called a taxi. Enter Uber, the exact same service that reinvented the way we get around. No more taxi's or begging friends to help you out.

Well, believe it or not, grocery shopping has now been reinvented.

It's one of my least favorite activities ever. Going to the store, racking up the money you're about to spend because you NEED to, it's crowded, and you typically forget something. Currently, when I need to grocery shop, I go at about 1:00 a.m. when I leave the radio station and the downtown Boise Winco is nearly empty.

Instacart is a grocery delivery service that can pick up your every need at the store, get it to you in as soon as 1-hour, and be delivered to your doorstep by a real person. Have a grocery list and know what you need? Hop onto the website, list it out, and await your groceries. Not only will they do the shopping for you, there are website-exclusive coupons ready for you to use (and save money) as well.

Perhaps you're wondering about the who behind the delivery...well, Instacart shoppers are people just like you and I, Boise locals ready to deliver!

I haven't tried the service yet, but I plan to and I will absolutely let you know how it goes.
