Guinness World Records Names Idaho Dog ‘Tallest in the World’

For various reasons, we here in Idaho are no strangers to seeing our state make national headlines. Sometimes, it's for something funny and viral. Other times, it's for something odd or political. Then of course--there are sports (ever hear the name Ashton Jeanty?).

This week, folks are talking about Idaho because of one very adorable, lovable and record breaking dog--Reginald.

Reginald is a Great Dane that lives in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He's just the sweetest--and he has gained international fame because of his world record breaking HEIGHT!

One thing is for sure: we love Reginald and believe that he deserves all of the pets! 

Should the State of Idaho have a mascot? If so--we think that this big doggo might as well be in the running!

Reginald was set up to meet and hangout with another world record holding dog--you guessed it: the SMALLEST dog in the world.  The tiny dog named Peal lives in Orlando, Florida.

The good folks at Guinness World Records arranged for the two to meet and as you could see from the photos above-- they became instant friends but could not be more different!

In case you were wondering--Reginald measures in at 3-foot-3 while standing, regularly, on all four legs.
