It's that intense time of the year when basketball teams from all over the state battle it out for a state championship.  Being from Boise myself, I've got an awkwardly passionate interest in who wins these games for a 24-year-old man.

A graduate of Bishop Kelly here in Boise, there's who I'm rooting for this weekend but unfortunately, they took a loss in their first game and are now playing for the consolation title.

Here are the teams from the Treasure Valley battling for some hardware this weekend:

In the 5A Division:

  • Centennial is taking on Madison for the consolation title
  • Rocky Mountain is taking on Borah where the winner gets into the championship game.

In the 4A Division:

  • Bishop Kelly is playing tonight for the consolation title
  • Skyview is playing Preston  to get into the championship game.

In the 3A Division:

  • Fruitland is taking on Snake River to get into the championship game.

Championship games are taking place tomorrow, Saturday, March 3rd at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa. For more on the games, divisions, and scores, click HERE.
