For the most part, folks have been respectful of the investigation and the victims, their families, and friends. Some have caused trouble, however, which has been unfortunate.
A year in the past now, the memories of Kaylee, Xana, Ethan and Maddie live on while one suspect remains in custody. The globe hopes that justice will be served.
Bryan C. Kohberger, the suspect in custody, has waived his right to a speedy trial and it may be months--or years--for this trial to be wrapped up. Innocent until proven guilty, Kohberger awaits his day in court.
A national television network, Court TV, unveiled an hour-long documentary on the one-year anniversary of the crimes. It involves information, interviews, and 'expert' opinion on the evidence that we do know about, publicly.
