The following is not a healthy option on Thanksgiving.

Knowing that, here's how to stuff your face properly!

Popular Science made a list of six tips to help you eat as much as humanly possible on turkey day. Because if you don't fall asleep 20 minutes after the meal, did you really even eat?

  • Don't skip breakfast. You don't need to eat a huge meal first thing in the morning, but make sure to have something. Starving at dinner will make you eat faster and therefore fill up faster.
  • Before dinner, go on a quick walk. It'll stimulate your appetite and making digesting your meal a little easier.
  • Relax. Take a few deep conscious breaths before eating. It's easier to eat more when your body is in a relaxed state.
  • Carbs first. Turkey is full of protein which fills you up rapidly, so hit the stuffing and potatoes before the bird.
  • Ditch the plants. Veggies contain tons of fiber which will make you feel full pretty fast.
  • Walk. Again. It'll help you digest what you ate, and since you downed mostly carbs you'll be hungry again in about an hour.
