Idaho Motorcyclist Wanted After Two Police Chases in Same Day

If there is one thing that we know about folks here in the Treasure Valley, it's that discussing our 'driving' can be a polarizing topic. Folks in Boise say that Nampa has the worst drivers. People in Nampa say that folks in Boise can't drive. And just about every Idahoan will claim that Californians have no clue how to drive.

The truth? Who knows.

You may remember this high profile police chase that took place not long ago? 

One 'bad driver' is on the radar with local law enforcement after a series of pursuits earlier this week and now, authorities are turning to the public for help in identifying this motorcyclist. 

Do you know this man? 

In a statement released by the Idaho State Police Department, Captain Michael Winans had the following to say about this dangerous driver: 

This rider didn’t just break the law—he put lives at risk. Fleeing at extreme speeds on a high-powered motorcycle like a Hayabusa shows a reckless disregard for everyone else on the road.  This behavior will not be tolerated. We’re asking for the public’s help to identify him before someone gets seriously hurt or killed.

It's clear that the Idaho State Police is determined to track this driver down! 

According to Idaho State Police, this driver was going over 100 miles per hour on Tuesday, June 4th going westbound on Interstate 84-- he did not yield when a trooper attempted a traffic stop.

Later on in the day, the driver was spotted driving recklessly again on Interstate 84 -- this time, exceeding 150 miles per hour. Out of safety concerns, police did not initiate a pursuit.
