If there's one thing that makes the Treasure Valley special, it is the fact that we're constantly looking out for our own. I've said this a million times in various contexts, but it is true: NOBODY loves Boise more than Boise-- and by that I mean the greater Treasure Valley.

Not only are individuals here in our area typically the first to spread some kindness or assistance, but so too are our local businesses. One of my favorite restaurants, Idaho Pizza Company (or IPC as I affectionately call them) is teaming up with one of my favorite non-profit organizations, St. Vincent de Paul!

On Friday, June 19th, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Idaho Pizza Company will be giving out 100 FREE pizzas from the St. Vincent de Paul Overland Food Pantry!

I know from my time and involvement at St. Paul's Parish in Nampa that the good folks over at St. Vincent de Paul are always working to make a difference in the lives of those in need all across our area.

If you know of someone that could use a helping hand in these strange times, let them know that the food pantry is doing pizza this Friday!
