There is a feeling in the air that we might be getting closer to some sort of normalcy. I say that delicately as people are losing their lives to COVID-19. We can agree that numbers are going down and that's positive.

I also feel like we might see some movement when we get vaccinated depending on what list your on. We continue to see more vaccines, extended distribution with more locations. Idaho State just added a weekly vaccination location in Meridian.

Idaho State University in Meridian will be hosting vaccination opportunities for Idahoans that are eligible every Friday. The same stipulations apply meaning you have to be approved within your group to get vaccinated.

As the state's leader in the health sciences, we are proud to collaborate with others in our community to provide this critical service. Our collaboration brings together trained professionals and dedicated volunteers, in an ideal location, to vaccinate our community. We are proud to join this collaborative effort in the Treasure Valley that will greatly enhance the health, safety, and well-being of Idahoans.

That comes from ISU President Kevin Satterlee. You might even see more sights as we've written about Albertsons and Saint Alphonsus both opening various locations. We know that Saint Alphonsus has actually taken over the old Goldman's in the Village at Meridian.

ISU will be teaming up with Albertsons to administer 400 vaccinations every Friday at the ISU Meridian Health Science Center Clinics at 1311 E. Central Drive out in Meridian. They won't be accepting walk-ins. Make sure you sign-up below.
