September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and you can help make a difference by simply donating your time.

In 2016, the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline received almost 6,000 calls. We're nearly at that number already in 2017. While the reason isn't so black and white, how you can help is. The hotline is asking for additional volunteers, and for the first time ever is asking 18-21 year olds to volunteer their time. You can job shadow and take a tour of what the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline is all about throughout September, while the next training class begins on October 3rd.

If you or someone you know is in need of someone to talk to about suicide, call the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline at (208) 398-4357.
