Very recently Boise found itself at the top of a major list: the safest cities in the country.

There are a whole lot of things that can lead to Boise being so high on the list (5th) and a lot of it has to do with the people of Boise. There’s so much to do just all within an hour of the city. Whether it’s floating the Boise River in the summer, skiing and snowboarding in Bogus Basin in the winter, hiking Table Rock in the spring, or visiting the pumpkin patch in fall, Boise has activities that bring around the best type of people. And what's even cooler is that everyone is acknowledging how awesome and safe Boise is!

But another TikTok going viral about a girl leaving her purse at a Chipotle in Boise has everyone discussing if Boise really is still safe?

This girl ended up leaving her purse at a Chipotle sitting outside on one of the chairs. She realized later that it was there and when she went back it was still there! Another great example of how nice the people of Boise are, that someone didn't steal it from her.

However despite Boise making this list the internet still has a lot to say about the city. Many argue about how true being safe in Boise is and others argue if Boise is even a good place to move. Hopefully what they say is true: all publicity is good publicity and everyone else can look past the negative comments. Either way we like to think Boise is safe and a great place to live!

Is Boise Safe?

The internet argues how true this is.
