It's not a bad idea, right? From a few feet away, you could probably get a painted potato to pass as an Easter Egg. It'd be a big, lumpy Easter Egg, but we're confident in your abilities to pull it off.

The question is, are you legally allowed to repurpose actual Idaho Potatoes as Easter decorations?

Yep. You absolutely can.

You're going to want to get a paint that's more for porous surfaces, and you probably shouldn't leave them in the yard for a prolonged period of time, but other than that, have at it! Paint those Idaho Potato Easter Spuds to your heart's content!
