It’s Official, Nampa: School Times Have Been Decided for 24-25
If you can believe it, the school year is creeping up--and quick!
We can remember the days of being a kid and while summer break never felt like it was long enough--it did feel like a long time. Now, it seems as an adult that these weeks fly by and before you know it, it's back to school.
While summer let out for the year not long ago, there are a lot of moving parts happening in Nampa over the summer as the Nampa School District voted to make some pretty significant changes to how "school" goes, this year.
For the first time ever, the Nampa School District will be implementing a 4-day long school week and while kids may be rejoicing for the shorter weeks, many families have been left to figure out how on earth they'll be getting child care covered on Friday's.
As all of this goes on, and the preparation that is required for the changes take place this summer, families now have a new look at how the school year will be 'timing out'.
Released this morning, the Nampa School District has unveiled the official start and end times of a school day for 2024-2025.
