6 Halloween Candies That Should Be Idaho’s Favorite But Aren’t

Happy Halloween! Preparing for Halloween this year I learned that Idaho is actually ranked as one of the Top "Sweet Toothed" States in America. But in my research, I also found out what Idaho's favorite candy is... and it's probably not what you're expecting.

You might be expecting something like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or Snickers...

Nope. Idaho's favorite candy is apparently... Red Vines.

Yes, Red Vines. Are you feeling underwhelmed? A little unimpressed, maybe? If that's how you feel, just know you're not alone because that's how I feel, too!

Red Vines, Idaho?! Come on, we can do better than that. In fact, I can think of 6 other candies right now off the top of my head that are way better than Red Vines and deserve to be "Idaho's Favorite Candy."

Sure, these are my own opinions. But I was also just at an awesome Trunk-Or-Treat event in Kuna last Friday, and most people went for the chocolate candies, not the Red Vines.

And Instacart recently released "Wicked Insights About America's Halloween Candy Preferences," and Idaho was listed as one of the states who favor Red Vines over Twizzlers, and Red Vines (believe it or not) over any other kind of candy.

But if you look into any "Top 10 Favorite Halloween Candy" lists, you will find that there are way better candies that are favored pretty much anywhere else in the country.
