This year might be the exception, but during winter, many active Boise-area residents are looking for opportunities to participate in summer activities in a climate-controlled environment. If pickleball is your thing, The Flying Pickle's Nampa location is officially open Flying Pickle is turning the grand opening into an all-day event with free play, food and prizes.
The Flying Pickle in Nampa Posted Grand Opening Details on Social Media
The grand opening is Saturday, February 28 at 1350 N Galleria Drive in Nampa. According to their Facebook post, they'll be open all day for free open play, so if you’ve got a paddle and a little competitive energy, it sounds like a great excuse to check the place out and see what the courts are like.

Schedule of Events During Flying Pickel Nampa's Grand Opening Event
Flying Pickel in Nampa is kicking things off with an 8 AM ribbon cutting, and they say the first 100 guests get prizes. After that, there’s a Prize Court from 9 to 11 AM, then free lunch from 11 AM to 1 PM.
Later in the day, they'll be hosting a Pro Cash Challenge from 5 to 7 PM, followed by Party and Play from 7 to 9 PM with a DJ and dirty soda specials.
New players and Rockstars Welcome
Flying Pickel says that they're all about players of all ages and skill levels, so don't worry if you've never played before. Grab your crew and go see what Nampa’s newest indoor pickleball spot is all about.
