Idaho musician, Brian Martin from Pocatello, will be opening the show! And this isn't his first rodeo, as he's a Nashville recording artist, and he's even performed on this stage before for Clint Black.

"For me country tells a story," says Brian in our recent interview with him, "and it resonates with a lot of people. I enjoy watching people at country concerts just release and forget about the headaches of every day life. And I figure, if I've got the voice to do it, and if I can help somebody not worry... then that's what I'm going to do, and that's what keeps me motivated to do this."

Why should people from Boise drive to Pocatello for this show?

Brian answered, "They've been getting some real A-list musicians out here, and the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheater is an awesome venue. The atmosphere is amazing, and Pocatello is a good crowd. They want big events out here, too, and it's always a positive experience, so I'm honored to play at this venue again."

Brian mentioned they're excited to get everybody ramped up for Clay, but they're also excited to get people amped up for the 4th of July!

He said, "We're going to boost up our military and first responders, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, nurses, and doctors... Because that's what the 4th of July is all about — that should be the most important holiday that we celebrate every year."

So, gather your friends and family, hop in the car, and make the trip to Pocatello to see Brian Martin and Clay Walker at the amazing Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheater.
