Celeb Comedian John Mulaney Shares Major Love for Idaho at Comedy Show
Laughs could likely be heard from downtown Boise all the way out to Nampa on Sunday, March 22nd, as the legendary comedian John Mulaney took to the stage at Idaho Central Arena.
As the wether slowly gets bette here in the Treasure Valley, everyone is getting more than anxious to leave the house for some of the fun that comes along with a Spring or Summer in the Boise area. Consider the fun underway as thousands of fans filed into Idaho Central Arena on Sunday night for a comedy show from John Mulaney.
Mulaney stormed the stage after two opening acts and immediately went into showing Idaho some love.
As with any comedy show, most compliments were backhanded jokes--but Mulaney did share some insight into his history with our state. This is the kind of stuff that people in Idaho can never get enough of.
Mulaney complimented Boise for being a great town, took some jabs at 'small town Idaho' folks, but then shared that his first memory of Idaho was actually as a kid, coming to Stanley for vacation with his parents! He recalled floating the middle fork of the Salmon and loving it, to which, the crowd went crazy!
His show touched on everything, from life as a parent, marrying into a Vietnamese family, and his beef with modern day washer and dryer appliances -- all were hilarious.
If you missed out on John Mulaney's time in Boise this time around, not to worry, there are a lot of other comedy shows and concerts headed to the Treasure Valley over the next several months! Check out the extensive list!
