Bricks & Minifigs just opened on Fairview Ave! Your kids are invited to build and explore without you having to worry about stepping on a Lego while cleaning up after them!

The new store opened at 10150 W. Fairview in March.  You can find it across the street from Internet Auto Sales and next door to George's Cycles.  While the main focus of Bricks & Minifigs is to buy and sell new and used Lego sets, they also want your kids to create something incredible.

The store includes an activity room that's open for kids to play in from 10:30 AM to Noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays (unless already rented for a private event.)  It can be reserved for birthday parties, special needs groups, home school students and more!

While the concept of Bricks and Minifigs is cool, the story behind how the franchise game to Boise is even cooler.  The store is owned, managed and operated by members of the Brimhall family.  The Brimhalls were in Oregon last year where their 25-year son Devin was particularly impressed with the Bricks and Minifigs store.  Devin has Asperger syndrome and it's proven challenging for him to find a good job so his parents put down $20K to open a franchise in the Treasure Valley.

Now Devin works along his siblings and is the friendly face you see at the door when you enter the store.  His family tells the Idaho Statesman that he's become more social and more communicative through working at the store.
