It's happening tomorrow night and is sure to be a sight. Light The Night, an event to draw support for people affected by leukemia and lymphoma. The event draws thousands each year. The event directly funds those being treated for patients that this effects.

According to a report from KTVB, Idaho's News Channel 7, the LLS director Lauren Olsen says that this event is the highlight of the entire year.

Not only are thousands of red lanterns lit up and flown to show support for survivors and those fighting the disease alike, but thousands walk in support as well, to raise money for the cause.

This year, the LLS set up a pretty high goal, hoping to raise $400,000 and according to their website, they're close to reaching that.

The event is tomorrow, Thursday, October 5th and begins at 5:00 p.m.  If you were unfamiliar with the event prior to reading this, you can learn more and find out how to get involved by clicking HERE.

The walk is only 1.1 miles long so bringing the whole family out is totally practical!
