Masks Now Required in Ada County
The mandate that many expected to come down, has come down from the Central District Health Department. Effective on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 14th 2020, masks are now REQUIRED in public space where individuals are six feet together or closer, throughout Ada County, per Central District Health.
With COVID-19 numbers rising here in the Treasure Valley over the last several weeks, health officials are looking to slow the statistics down and masks is their next step. Originally, rolling back from phase four to phase three was supposed to help but we just aren't seeing those results.
Meanwhile, in Canyon County, Southwest District Health has remained in phase four and not required masks. Their numbers continue to rise rapidly as well.
We will continue to keep you posted on this as more develops, however, just keep a mask in the car and remember: if you're in Ada County, mask up!
