Mass Vaccination Clinic Planned for April 8
Let the mad dash begin-- it's time to get your COVID-19 vaccination, Idaho.
A year ago, COVID-19 shook the entire globe. As everything "shut down", the economy took a massive hit, thousands lost jobs, and more, none of us knew what to expect. None of us certainly expected the long lasting battle that we have seen. Officials from the start seemed to believe that a vaccine would be the only thing to pull us through this. Now, here we are--vaccines available and a mass distribution event happening on April 8th, 2021.
If you're interested in this mass vaccination event, here's the scoop-- by the way, it's going to be the largest in the entire State of Idaho to date.
Crush the Curve Idaho is the force planning this event at the Boise Airport parking lot. If you are 18 years old or older, you are eligible to be vaccinated at this event. With the plan now in place, all doses will be of the Pfizer vaccine. This particular vaccine requires a second dose four weeks later, so, a second clinic WILL be scheduled for April 29th to get that to you.
Scheduling your appointment is easy and REQUIRED to partake in this event on April 8th. To do so:
- Text or call 208-391-7036
- En Espanol: 208-495-6001
- Register online by clicking HERE.
You won't even need to get out of the car for this vaccination event. You will simply pull up to a tent, receive your shot, and then pull forward for a 15-minute waiting window to make sure that you do not have any intense and immediate reactions to the vaccine. During the 12-hour vaccination window (8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.), organizers hope to vaccinated over 2,400 people.
