Boise's Barber Valley in the Harris Ranch area along Warm Springs Ave is undergoing massive changes. 254 luxury apartment units are getting ready to go up at The Timbers at Harris Ranch. Crews just broke ground this week. There are some neighbors and community members that are against the project but progress is happening.

According to Don Day from BoiseDev, The approval process started with the Harris Ranch Review Board who owns the land and neighborhoods around the area.  After they passed the plans they took it to the City of Boise where it got the final stamp of approval. The project is being developed by High Rhodes Investment Group of Irvine, California.

The plans includes nine separate apartment buildings that will be built in a horseshoe shaped community with parking and amenities in the middle. The apartments will range from small studios to 1,300 square foot three bedroom units.

So what makes these 'luxury'? The area is one, with easy access to the greenbelt. Next the community space will include a “resort-style” pool, fitness center, playroom, business lounge and co-working areas. The apartment units will all have a patio or balcony, washer/dryer rooms, bike storage, and garages. Everything will be super modern also.

They are currently getting the ground prepped and actual construction is expected to start next month in July. The Timbers at Harris Ranch are hoping to be done by fall of 2022.

There are so many new condo and apartment buildings going up in and around Boise it is hard to keep up with. This is one of the biggest with nine separate buildings though.
