Another weekend is upon us and it's finally starting to feel like we've ditched winter. Sorry, snow bunnies...it's time for the sun to shine! While most that I work with are complaining about Daylight Saving Time still, I'm loving the fact that it's light out, later! It's giving me so much energy!

As weather (slowly) warms up and there's that Boise spirit of "oh my gosh we all need to get out of our houses today) in the air--here's a few great outing ideas for you this weekend!

    Fatty's Bar

    8th & Idaho

    It's another 103.5 KISS FM takeover at Fatty's Bar in downtown Boise. Make plans to come through and celebrate the weekend with DJ Slieb and I!

    There will be a ton of drink specials, including the infamous $4 nerds shots and of course if it's your birthday...birthday week...astrological season...we'll find a reason to pick up your first round! The party starts at 10:00 p.m. and I'm hosting until bar close!

    Boise Spring Home Show

    Ok, so I live in an apartment with my cat and have nothing to do with home and garden themed things...but a few notes...

    First of all, if there's a Spring home and garden show, that just means that Spring (and sunny, warmer weather) is almost here...right!?

    Second of all, this could be a really fun family event as the weather for the weekend is looking to be great! Take the kids out, grab some project materials and enjoy the fresh air this weekend.

    This runs from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. today and 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

    Arrested Development Party

    I've just recently gotten into Arrested Development so I'm totally late to the party...pun intended. However if you're up to speed, there's a party at Woodland Empire tonight from 7:00 until 11:00 p.m. with a photo booth, costume contest, and special themed beers!

    Yep, I'm a crazy cat dad so I've got to tell you about this one.  Watch some crazy champion cats compete on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
