McCall Cancelled 4th of July Fireworks, Cascade Moves Forward

4th of July weekend is so awesome in Idaho especially if your up in McCall. I love the versatility of the weekend, you can be tucked away in a cabin away from the world and still have a great view of the fireworks show over Payette Lake. On the other hand if you're feeling adventurous and want to get litty you can hit the beach, get the party started early and them wrap up the night at one of the restaurants / bars along the waterfront. Unfortunately this year there will be no fireworks show in McCall, however you can enjoy a drive-up concert, a patriotic boat brigade and a light-up caravan. If fireworks are a must then you're gonna have to take the party south a few miles to Cascade.  The Cascade chamber of commerce tweeted today:

"The 4th of July Fireworks ARE happening at Lake Cascade this year!, We have safety precautions put in place, and strongly encourage people to follow social distancing guidelines,"
