Brenda Cridland of Meridian, Idaho thought she was just gaining weight.  She thought this was all part of going through menopause.  For more than 10 years Cridland had a tumor growing and growing and growing inside her.  When that tumor was finally detected it weighed in at 50 pounds.

I know what you're thinking.  How can 50 pounds of anything be inside a human body and not be detected?  I don't know.  But I do know that crazy things happen in life and for some reason, this thing just slipped through the cracks.

After the weight gain kept coming and coming Brenda finally decided to see a doctor.  That's when a CAT scan came into play.  And what did the CAT scan reveal?  A massive tumor that at this point was shoving her vital organs around which resulted in a loss of blood flow to her brain.

According to KTVB, Brenda's case was the result of an undiagnosed case of endometriosis.  Yes, she had all sorts of signs and red flags through the past decade but like a lot of people, she ignored them and moved on the best she knew how.  The doctors told Brenda that if she would've waited even two more weeks, she may have died.

We're so glad that now Brenda can move on with her life, 65 pounds lighter than what she was, a whole lot healthier, and hopefully much happier.
