Unless I'm sitting at a Boise Hawks game with a hot dog and beer in my hand, I'm not much of a baseball fan but this tribute to outgoing New York Yankees shortstop, Derek Jeter, actually choked me up.

I grew up in between Cleveland and Pittsburgh.  Neither the Indians or the Pirates were very good so following baseball has never really been my thing, but I do enjoy the sport when I'm at a game.  Tonight, I might just have to do something out of the norm and actually watch a baseball game on TV.  Tonight's All-Star game is the final All-Star game for Derek Jeter after almost 19 years in the MLB.  Jeter's not planning anything big like a pre-game speech or requesting extra tickets for his entourage, but according to the USA Today there will be plenty of tears of admiration and emotional moments from others on the field.

Heck, I got chocked up watching this tribute to "The Captain" that Nike and the Jordan Brand put together for Jeter.  I'm such a girl when it comes to sports tributes.  I'm the weirdo that cries during pre-game packages during BCS Bowl Season and the "One Shining Moment" montage at the end of the NCAA Men's Basketball tourney.  This video did the same thing to me.  It's already buzzing on the web and will be shown before Jeter takes the plate during tonight's MLB All-Star Game. It features a ton of celebrity cameos including Jay-Z, Tiger Woods and the rival Red Sox and Mets (with their faces blurred out of course!) You can catch the game on FOX at 6 PM.
