Nampa Police Seek Plumber Taking Advantage of Senior Citizens
The Treasure Valley is growing--that's no secret. With growth comes all sorts of new elements to any community--crime is often one of them. While we still live in a relatively safe place, crimes like the ones we're sharing with you today are totally unacceptable and the Nampa Police Department hopes that you can point them in the right direction to bring this to an end.
With over $500k in warrants, 29-year-old Christian Arellano has been scamming Nampa residents, posing as a reputable plumber.
Nampa Police describe what the wanted man has been up to:
Arellano has been employed by a few different plumbing companies in the recent past, and he uses the legitimate companies as his platform to prey financially on senior citizens and community members who do not speak or understand English well. The plumbing companies that have employed him do not seem to know what he’s up to “on the side” with their customers, and those businesses have been cooperating with us for the most part. He would get direct payment for the extra jobs, some he actually finished (in a manner that would later have to be fixed by a legit contractor), and in some instances he would take the money and not do any of the work.
Do you know where to find him?
Not only are the crimes just not fair, but to take advantage of the marginalized--senior citizens and those that may not speak fluent English--we're totally disgusted.
If you know anything about the whereabouts of 29-year-old Christian Arellano, Nampa Police ask that you contact the investigating officer at 208-565-5144
