It isn't often to see an interchange REMOVED from I-84 these days--in fact, it's the complete opposite. With the way the Treasure Valley has been growing, expansion and additional exits along I-84 through the Treasure Valley are what most people are wishing for. Tomorrow, however, Nampa will be seeing some changes long westbound I-84.

Exit 33B on the Interstate 84 Karcher Interchange is going to be removed completely, for good, beginning tomorrow. In fact, driving through Nampa today I saw the equipment being prepared. Construction crews will begin work on the removal tomorrow, Monday, October 15th at 8:00 p.m. and should be done promptly, by 5:00 a.m. the next morning.

Is Exit 33B one that you're used to using? Now, all traffic headed west will use the loop ramp which will now just be known as Exit 33.
