It’s getting hot in here, Treasure Valley.  Anyone else feeling the heat?

We've had an extremely long year and finally, that theoretical "light at the end of the tunnel" is getting brighter and brighter. Call it a "shot girl summer" or tap into that "Faucci Ouchie", things are looking up for live events, Treasure Valley.

It absolutely broke our hearts earlier this year to announce another postponement for Boise Music Festival. At the time of planning, as we shared with you--most acts weren't in a position to be comfortably committing to live shows. Now, as more and more things have opened up we're seeing a number of acts packing up and hitting the road for IN-PERSON concerts. Wow, did those "virtual" shows suck...we can say that now, right?

Well, a summer staple here in the Treasure Valley has been working hard to plan some fun and some entertainment for the area--of course we're talking about the Western Idaho Fair!

You may recognize THIS big name as he was on our stage at Boise Music Festival just a few years ago and we now he's going to draw a HUGE crowd.

NELLY has been announced as headliner for the Western Idaho Fair!

The show will be on Tuesday, August 24th at the Expo Idaho Grandstand.

Other headlining concerts during this year's Western Idaho Fair will be:

  • Granger Smith on Monday, August 23
  • Chicago on Wednesday, August 25
  • Jon Pardi on Thursday, August 26
  • Seether on Friday, August 27

No special tickets are needed--your fair admission is enough!

LOOK: The most famous actress born the same year as you

Many of the actresses in this story not only made a name for themselves through their collection of iconic performances, but also through the selfless, philanthropic nature with which many of them approached their stardom. In an age of flipping the script on societal norms, many of these actresses are using their voices and platforms to be advocates for those who are otherwise unheard.
