Over the weekend Savannah and I were trying to decide what sounded yummy for lunch. We decided to head downtown Nampa and we are so happy with that decision.

We first thought we would check out Mesa Tacos and Tequila but they weren't open until 4 p.m. on Saturday but we noticed across the street the new burger joint Holy Cow was now open. Their exact location is 1226 1st Street South in Nampa.

The Slow Burn Burger caught my eye, it came with hatch chili's, bacon, american cheese, egg, and Holy Cow sauce. Savannah ordered the Notorious Burger with American and Cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, ham, bacon and Holy Cow sauce. The burgers come a la cart so we also split an order of Dank Tots.

Every bite of food was delicious, Savannah even said it was one of the best burgers she had ever had. Our server was attentive and at the end of our meal one of the owners came out to check on everything, which was appreciated.

One thing is for sure, we will be back (probably often). If you haven't tried the new craft burger spot in downtown Nampa, you should. Holy Cow is the real deal.
