Boise’s Trendiest Restaurant Announces Expansion, Brand New Concept
Foodies in the Treasure Valley have been on a roller coaster this year.
For many, a lot of local favorite restaurants and bars closed for good. Spots with cult-like followings, such as Zee's Rooftop, Hong Kong in Nampa, or Wepa in Garden City shut their doors and disappeared from our dining options.
On the other hand--lots of new spots have opened up. It seems that many of them, however, have been chains. Take a look at the lines that were formed around the grand opening of Raising Cane's, for example.
One LOCAL restaurant, known for elevated experiences and delicious food and drink has announced there's an expansion coming--that will be a fusion of two fun brands.
Announced on Instagram, Southeast Boise's Harris Ranch neighborhood will be home to the latest addition of 'flavor' from Boise's beloved Barbacoa.
Shifts are happening in the space that has been occupied by The STIL and Lemon Tree out in Harris Ranch. Now, The STIL will be moving back into the Lemon Tree Space--and a new concept will be moving into where The STIL once was.
It's a collab between Barbacoa and Sushi Shack--being dubbed 'Coa Cantina'!
We got an inside scoop from Barbacoa on the space--and learned that will will feature a 'walk-through countertop dining experience' and offer tacos, burritos, tequila and more.
Expect the fusion to open near the beginning of 2026!
