Few things are greater in life than an amazing meal. Make it authentic and homemade? That's the key.

We're living through unprecedented times right now and while the news cycle continues to develop hourly and life as we know it feels like it has come to a complete standstill--it's the little things, like an amazing, homemade, authentic meal that can really go a long way.

Along with keeping accurate, updated information coming for our community-- we here at 103.5 KISS FM have been working really hard to highlight local businesses that are going above and beyond for our community along with those who are doing everything they can to keep their doors open and make sure we still have access to the things we need, want, and love.

I've known the good folks over at Imelda's Mexican Food & Coffee Casa for years and when I learned they were still open during this statewide 'Stay-At-Home' Order, I told Mikey that we HAD to celebrate Taco Tuesday the right way this week. We hopped in the car and got out to Caldwell for what was his first time at Imelda's.

If you've never had food at Imelda's, you're missing out--the locally owned and operated restaurant offers it ALL--as authentic as it gets. I had to chuckle while I was ordering today because I haven't had 'migas' since I was a little kid--in fact, I didn't even know that was a REAL thing because my grandma used to make such random food for me growing up.

The full menu, including menudo, is available at Imelda's right now for pick-up, take-out, and delivery. By the way, their Taco Tuesday special is going on EVERYDAY until this coronavirus outbreak passes.

As I keep you posted on local spots in the Treasure Valley that are definitely worth checking out and supporting, I hope Imelda's will make your list! Get all the details on this gem in Caldwell, HERE.
