Pacific Northwest Rap Icon Announces Boise Concert Date
After a January and February that felt like they took 2 years to pass--it's that time of the year, finally, when things around the Treasure Valley really just start to come alive. Even with cold temperatures, the sunshine and the energy in the air signal to us Boise folk that more fun times are on the way.
In true Boise form, another major concert has been announced on a Friday--when we all needed some great news the most! Warmer weather cannot come sooner!
A Seattle-based rapper and pop-culture icon, Macklemore, will be visiting Boise this fall and it's sure to be one of the most high energy shows of the entire year. Known best for his hits 'Can't Hold Us' and 'Thrift Shop', Macklemore has a stage presence unlike most artists and it doesn't matter how long it's been since his big hits were released, they are universal party anthems.
The show will be taking place at Idaho Central Arena in the heart of downtown Boise on October 12th! Tickets will be on sale at 10:00 a.m. on March 10th--so set those reminders if you want to lock in great seats for the concert!
Macklemore isn't the only big show coming to the Treasure Valley this year, let's take a look at who else we can see around town!
