Summer time brings a lot of fun events to the Treasure Valley. From amazing outdoor concerts to really great community events--there is something for everyone once the skies clear and the temperatures rise. Here in Idaho, of course, we're lucky to have that all year long--especially with the amazing outdoor options that require no tickets, crowds, or anything that organized events do.

Some events, however, stand out more than others. A town that loves to get out and be active, Boise is home to many runs. Challenging runs, family runs, charitable runs and...bubble runs?

This unique event, dubbed a "bubble run", travels the entire nation and encourages folks to be active and run: through some bubbles!

This event was supposed to take place on Saturday, July 8th but unfortunately has been canceled and runners are very sad.

The following statement is on the Bubble Run website:

We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, we sadly must postpone our Bubble Run event scheduled on July 8th in Boise.

Luckily, we another great event, Muddy Dash, headed to Boise on Saturday, September 23rd. Our Muddy Dash is one part mud run, one part obstacle course and 100% fun!

For those who were planning on running, there's good news: you can transfer your registraion to the Muddy Dash in the fall. If that isn't something you're interested in, another option is to use your registration for next year's Bubble Run.

There does not appear to be an option for a refund, however there is contact information on the event page, which can be found HERE.
